Ch-ch-ch-changes...In 2013 we're reformulating some product lines, reducing others and adding some new products. We're also reducing our use of plastic as much as possible and going to glass, metal or paperboard dispensers. There are some way cool packaging options that dissolve completely in water (like for soap), but these are only in the design stages from the large suppliers.

Lotions & Creams...This has been such a difficult product to formulate using only natural ingredients. Creams...no problem. Whipped body butters....no problem. A nice lotion that glides on and dispenses properly...huge problems with the emulsions...sigh.
This is the first year that we're able to meet our corporate mandate with truly 100% natural lotions and creams because vegetable based effective preservatives are now widely available. This also means that there are NO MORE EXCUSES for the cosmetic giants to continue using toxic preservatives along with all of the other toxic ingredients. Ahem, hello?
Read the Ingredients!...Like being a 'little pregnant', one is either pregnant or not; there is no little about it. Skin care products are either truly natural or they're not. Like reading the ingredients on food packages, you're encouraged to do the same for your skin care products.
Cosmetics companies cheat with synthetic or derivative additives in their natural product lines and they continue to mislead consumers. Visit the cosmetics database @ http://www.ewg.org to learn more about the health risks of the toxic ingredients in skin care products.
Clays & Muds...We finally have a reliable source for Dead Sea mud that has been properly preserved. These products - facials and scrubs - will be posted soon.
Scrubs...This is another tricky category because there are so many 'cheap' scrubs in the market that use salt and/or sugar. Have you ever seen what salt and sugar crystals look like under a microscope? They tear up you skin. Because these natural crystals micro-tear the skin, they also prematurely age your skin. Stop using these cheap scrubs now! Take a look at the microscopic images - sugar is pink and salt is blue.
We've created scrubs that use jojoba beads. They're completely round and super gentle on the skin during exfoliation. While more expensive than sugar or salt, they also won't leave you with long-term skin damage.
Want a super and gentle way to exfoliate your body? Regularly take long, warm baths and rub your skin with a wet washcloth while you're in the bath. You'll be amazed at how beautiful your skin becomes along with all of the other health benefits from bathing. Showers won't do it, sorry.
Toner...We tested a peppermint toner at market in October. We're still not sure, so we're working on other formulations.
Blemish Blaster...Ready to go; we just need to photograph it. This product works so well; Dr. B wishes she had it growing up.
